Title: Makeup Air - A Critical Component for Kitchen Ventilation Systems

Date and Time: Monday, March 15, 2010 from 3p to 4p EDT*
*Note Eastern Time for the start

Summary:
A correctly designed ventilation system requires air balance. Air being exhausted out of the building, through the exhaust hoods and fans, must be replaced with outside air that enters the building. Replacement air may be introduced into the building in a variety of methods; including through HVAC units or dedicated makeup air, which provides heated and/or cooled outside air. The webinar will focus on sources, equipment and energy cost issues associated with makeup air design.
